Leaving Inuvik
Good morning sunrise! Glorious sunrise!
Headed out first thing to get gas and then packed it all up to head to the airport early for breakfast.
We all had some poutine and eggs benedict at the restaurant and met a cool fellow, Mary Jane’s friend Shawn, who taught us Gwich’in words for white people:
vanoodl’it = border maker
oonjit = over there people

Then it’s on the plane to Old Crow, where we say goodbye to Mary Jane - thanks for EVERYTHING! See you SOON!
And then on to Vancouver. What a wonderful filmmaking adventure with old and new friends!
