Super fun second day!

Thanks to Nadine for attending and inspiring the class with her work and filmmaker experience! Nadine is 2-Spirit Red River Michif working and living in Sioux Lookout, Ontario! Nadine shared some of her films and talked about inspiration, film techniques and her festival experiences and awards!

Today students gravitated into teams or whether they wanted to work alone….and some folks started to plan their ideas….

One team is interested to make creepy slasher film! This group is Larissa, Tyra, Sharmel, Danica as well as pal, Neebam (SP?), who is in a different class. AMAZING!

Francis, wants to work on his own. And when discussing project ideas he was interested in documentary. He liked the idea of telling a story from a first shooter perspective like in a video game. He wants to always be behind the camera and has an idea to create a day in his life...all filmed in his room! Cool idea!

This is a group that is still considering what to do: Cheryl and Maddie - it is good to sometimes go home and think about it…

Another team is a trio who are ALSO considering ideas…these folks are: Lakota, Liana and Teri (Sp?)

Destiny is another student still thinking and waiting for inspiration!

Finally, here is another team considering ideas…Josiah, Quentin, Creighton, Jordan & Pierre

Getting an idea is the HARDEST part. The homework was to ponder and think and dream…
