Bella Bella - Workshop Day 5
8:30am and we are open for filmmaking!
Indian Tacos for lunch! OFF THE HOOK GOOD.
Bella edited her voice over and started to add b-roll. She also helped Astrid by driving her to the recycling and compost place to find out about interviews.
Astrid has started to plan her climate change film, deciding on interviews, considering the imagery she already has of the Heiltsuk territory and a climate protest that she took part in. She also plans to include helpful tips for other nations to join in the fight against climate change.
Latoya also fine-tuned her idea planning to interview folks about the importance of the Big House to the community. She hopes ton interview William Housty, Ian Reid - carver of the house poles, Russell her dad, Bella and herself!
Kaitlynn met with Robyn about getting archival imagery and filmed another background scene AND animated another scene. She is also working on her edit!
Sam recorded another lip sync scene by the pond and spent a lot of time adding quick cuts and transitions. His music video is getting really snappy!
Elle decided she is too busy with school to work on her film. We totally understand that there is only so much time in the day. Thanks so much for coming by and telling us… we will miss your energy in the workshop. Georgia is considering finishing the film herself. She came by the workshop and Sebnem and Lisa g talked about ways she could finished it. She will go to school to keep up with classes today but come back tomorrow.
Aaliyah completed her kid character and animated the first scenes of her new genre film: CANDY HORROR. Aaliyah worked non-stop today and made hilarious and twisted headway on her film!!!
4:30pm and feeling good! It is time to go home, jobs well done!
