Bella Bella - Workshop Day 6
Astrid’s 17th birthday!! Happy Birthday! Sunny day! Chinese food day!
CRAZY tech day! Lets just say a big part of filmmaking can be technical challenges and this is NORMAL.….it’s important to take a deep breath and keep moving forward…no matter how small the steps. ;)
Astrid had phone trouble so spent much time talking with Apple support. We all got to know Rose who tried to trouble shoot Astrids phone which was DISABLED. Astrid still continued to make some pre-production headway in her project AND catered her basketball team’s Chinese food dinner!
Kaitlynn conducted 2 more interviews…TWICE….the first time, lets just say didn’t heed the results she wanted. She also added some beautiful archival imagery to her video …it is really coming together.
Hailey was ready to edit but the wrong song was on the timeline…..a frustrating turn of events for sure. The song was retrieved from a school computer and added to Hailey’s computer. Thanks Tom and Ted for helping.
Aaliyah animated MORE scenes. They are twisted and scary but also funny and pretty. Aaliyah is so motivated!
Ange completed a memorial video for Auntie Gerri and Mother Rose. It is so emotional. So Brave. And such a wonderful tribute created by daughter and niece. Ange shared it right away on social media! Great work Ange.
Sam made significant and exciting changes in his edit! This is really turning into a LEGIT music video!!! He is also working on his bio and Lisa W took his bio pic…getting ready for festival submissions.
Laytoya conducted 3 interviews and started to edit them together on her timeline. She also had her new bio pic taken. This will be her 3rd bio pic for festival submissions!
Georgia also came by and is still considering making a shortened version of her film. Perhaps a bit more experimental…?
Thanks everyone AGAIN for their patience and hard work. Films and any creative endeavour… putting yourself out there, is a risk, but your voices and ideas are so important.….so we appreciate the time you spend in these workshops.
See you tomorrow!
