Kangiqsujuaq - Workshop Day 5
The mentors took a morning walk to check out Wakeham Bay and the ice break up. Brisk fresh air, a balmy -30!
Nigel is a superstar filmmaker & producer: juggling multiple projects: 3 generations of stories - himself, his dad, his grandmother. They are all very heavy stories, important and powerful to share. Nigel works on his film, with final tweaks to subtitles and b-roll, as well as working on his Dad’s edit. He also works with Lisa to complete his grandmother’s subtitles. Intense amount of work.
Errayou watched and listened to herself on the television and selected some archival images to be added to her film.
Sebnem, Lisa and Nigel visited the Kangirsujuaq* Municipal Office to meet with acting mayor Mark and TeeVee to confirm the screening on Saturday at the Quaggiq.
A busy, productive and beautiful day.
