Bella Bella - workshop day one
Day one and we are already off and running. We met everyone this morning… welcome back Aaliya and Latoya and a big nice to meet you to Laurence, Jimmy, Danny and Eryn! We watched some examples of past videos, and started brainstorming what we'll work on this time. Some amazing ideas are percolating….
For lunch we had an incredible SEAFOOD FEAST made by Anne Housty and Mavis Windsor!! Sockeye Salmon! Cod! Dogfish! Prawns! Eulachons! Fish Roe! Seaweed Soup! and Pineapple Cake and Jello! Thank you so much!
After so much good food we all needed to move around and get some fresh air. SO everyone went out and did some filming, photography, and sound recording ! We got the laptops organized and moved media around and Jimmy even got down to editing! WOW - today was productive!
Claudette gave the mentors some beautiful toques! We are already feeling so spoiled and special and can't wait to see what everyone creates.
